Worked Examples (Common Words First)

Pattern _ATCH — "ends with ATCH":

CATCH, MATCH, WATCH — plus HATCH, LATCH, PATCH.

Wordle note: none are common Wordle answers, but all are valid guesses.

Pattern S____ — "starts with S":

S is the most common starting letter (1,813 words in our data):

Position Search for Wordle (Greens)

Wordle green letters = correct position. This is exactly fill-in-the-blank search:
